help with piano roll

Most of the soft synths I use have an arpeggiator in them. In Fruity there's also an arpeggiator on each channel.
btw: I also have the .mid file for you from gouryella, if you want it. Send me a pm. |

no, i know theres an arpeggiator in FL, its just that with some synths e.g. the junglist, it doesnt work with it, it goes all gay
ive got the ligaya midi, as strings with bass, id just like an arpeggiated version :) |

if you go to the piano roll and click on tools, there's an option called chop. Now you can load templates into your piano roll, which can also create an arpeggio quite easy. There are even some widely used trance arpeggio's.

On Piano Roll, the Snap option is usualy at "1 step", change this to "1/4 step" and reduce the note lenght by draging its end backward till its the size u want, then just go adding the notes u want.
U may use the "Tick" size if u want total control so u can make notes that are not snaped to the song grid (good for humanizing percussions). |
