just because your in college that doesn't mean that you "have to go and do new stuff" you should be doing stuff that you are interested in and expiramenting in whatever you so desire all throughout your life.
college is just one small part (albeit a very fun and prolly your most favorable part) of your life.
this excuse that in college you should be trying new stuff, including lesbian sex is the cliche excuse people try to use for getting girls to get it on, or for trying new drugs or doing whatever.
if you don't want to hook up with other chicks then don't do it. if you do, then do it.
many girls hook up with other girls or claim to be bi because they want to get guys attention, and also because they are just as horney as guys, but because of imposed social conceptions, girls are looked at much more negativly for being promiscuous than guys. yet in the past few years it has become cool for girls to hook up with other girls, thus giving them a new outlet for satisfying sexual desires and also increasing their self image among members of the opposite sex. |

on the other side of things.. I'm pretty sure college for most girls is NOT like that. Yes you hear the odd orgy once in a while and such and a girls first kiss with another girl, but generally it's NOTHING like that. It's a myth.. sorry to burst your bubble gentleman. |
