| My computer at my home won't let me access tranceaddict.com. All other websites work fine, email and eveything. This started happining a week ago. Its soo wierd that one second i can access it and then another second i can't. I didn't change any settings on my computer. My computer is kinda old and only takes about 20 Gigs. I've asked just about everyone how to fix it. I'm goin crazy with out TA. Could ya help me? If you could that would be great. |

| Go to www.microsoft.com and grab all the updates. Maybe you need to update your browser to 128 bit encyption. Most websites use it for security reasons. Old versions of Internet explorer use 40 bit. Hope that helps. |

| Theres some file on ur hd that has a list of websites that for some reason ur 'not allowed' to access on that computer. I cant remember what the filename is, why it exists or how sites get added to it, but thats probably whats wrong. Try a google search or something |

Uhh that wont matter since the Tranceaddict web page is not encrypted.

This file will only exist if you have special blocking software on your computer.
More than likely your ISP was the problem. Your DNS server kind of lost the regrence to tranceaddict. This will show up as the page not found since your DNS server will not know how to resolve the name to an IP. |

I believe the poster was referring to Microsoft's site for updating the comp, not TA's site.

Either that or you've changed some browser settings...you don't need special software to block access to sites, most browsers have that kind of functionality built in, at least partially.
