recently, winamp starting eating RAM on my pc. it gets up to 100mb!!!
today i turned it on and right off the bat the RAM used count started increasing.
this started a few days ago for no reason whatsoever. i reinstalled the 2.81 version.
nothing.
upgraded to 2.91.
nothing.
reinstalled 2.91.
still the same.
what the ? it usually stayed under 5mb of ram but now it's so hungry... has anyone experienced this before? |

| Thats very strange. I doubt this is the cause, but do seperate virus and trojan scans on it. If that finds nothing ask in the winamp forums |

Format solves all problems. :toothless
Is it happening with everything, or possibly just one particular track? Sometimes ed-up tracks can make winamp do strange things. But it's possible it might be something else on your computer like a virus, trojan, or just some weird incompatibility... think about what else has changed on your computer recently. |

i wish i could format... no viruses though.
it's using up 87% of cpu right now and not even playing anything. even if i minimize it, it's still hogging the cpu.
