Broadband Hardware Question View this Thread in Original format goose_wh I have one machine downstairs, the upstairs in my room. When i get broadband i want them both connected to it, but with wireless networking as i dont want cables running all through my house. I want the router to work independently of the 2 computers (that is i can switch one or both the computers off and the connection wont fall over because part of the network is unavailbale). Can anyone recommend a suitable hardware setup for this. Im running 2000 Pro on both machines, & have no wireless network cards yet. Oh and i want to do it as cheaply as possible.... Im a student.
