| yeah, housing prices are horrible here, i read somewhere (i think it was in the mercury news, but im not sure) that you need to make $35 per hour here in san jose to rent a two bedroom apartment. |

There are many people I know who moved from Cali to Austin because of the high housing prices and lack of jobs. No joke!

The people I was referring to were moving from LA, so that's probably why they were happy to leave. Yeah San Fran and San Diego are great though. I go to San Diego semi-regularly to visit relatives there. Do the salaries match the cost of living, or is it pretty unbalanced? I was thinking about transferring to a college in San Diego. |
