Just wondering on who your fav DJ's are?
Now this has probably been done before...and again and again and again and again....but there are a few new ta's and I am quite interested...
So give me some names and REASONS...ta
Me - Christopher Lawrence...
Why? Ever since GK 2002 at the Goodshed I have just been in awe of him
He is uPLifting yet never cheesy...happy but not ghey....driving yet not NRGlike...
I dunno... I reckon he rocks.

Not hard to guess mine.
Paul van Dyk,
bout another way/ avenue CD single back in the day when it was released and was in awe.
His radio show, livesets and productions are so diverse and always keeps people wonmdering in what he will play.
i love how people bag him out but he keeps on coming back and back with material
and he is leading the dj mag top 100 :D |

Personally for me it is Tiesto.
I especially like some of his newer stuff like traffic, but what i like about him, is the way hes willing to take a risk in his sets and try diversify em, but still keeping that relentless driving beat happening hehehe.
Also he's personal album IN my Memory was all class, top written tracks that have all stood test of time. But my opinion is still open until NYE when he comes to town. The mayhem when j00f dropped Lethal Industry, tore the roof!
p.s Driving and relentless to describe a set ownz me |

for me.. Lucien Foort
his set at SOS blew me away. his style is so diverse and so good.. not only did I dance my ass off threw out his entire set but i got so lost in the music aswell - he is my main influence for the change over to the other side (progressive)
amazing DJ with great skills and an awsome vibe about him |

no real fav dj for me.
jus a few a rock my boat from time to time
atm its steve porter - subtle melodic style, satoshi tomiie- hypnotic, love when his housey groove kicks in, danny howells - so musically talented, hernan cattaneo - a lil housier prog style i like too.
madam breaks makes me dance
i'm in awe of Q-bert's turntable skills.
and sydney's dj sefu really knows how to mix his rnb.

all time... thats tough. There's just so much talent out there its crazy, but if I was to pick one DJ over everyone else it would have to be Tiesto aswell. His mixing aint too sharp, but his track selections and productions are just phenomenal. This man is no doubt responsible for some of the greatest productions to ever the club scene. Tieso 99 @ innercity amsterdam blows me away till this day.
Wish I was here over NYE to see him though but ill be in Thailand.
Whoever is going is one lucky person... |

= favourites of James Holden and AvB
AvB was the guy who was the final piece of my Trance puzzle.
James's Essential mix showed me how powerful set construction is.

AVB..... Paul van dyk has dissapointed me too many times this year so he is now no longer my number one. Im sure he would be crushed if he knew :)
Ferry is also up there with AVB. Ferry never disspoints me and he always gets into his sets. Not like the plain faced PVD, who just stands there like a kid at school asked to stand in the corner.... |
