It's hard to remember back to the early 90's, but one that does spring to mind, and would still be a killer track if played at a club today is:

Unbelievably melodic and well put together track.

| somewhere around 1995/1996, i had my first contact with trance. on Bonzai 5, there's a track called Yves Deruyter - Outsiders, which was way ahead of its time. little bit between trance and hardcore. |

| I was a huge fatboy slim and chemical brothers fan (as well as other Big Beat), and I was on the 'net talking to someone one day and as usual I ask them for song recommendations. Usually its a new rock song or something like that, but my friend was like "You gotta check this out, Cafe Del Mar by Energy 52." I listened to it and my eyes never blinked for the entire 7 minutes of the song. Amazing. So I guess I've been hooked for around 6 years now...although I still listen to quite a bit of old big beat, rock, and classical music ;P |
