glad you made it out with all body parts:happy2:
you are entitled to your own opinion....it you just came off as if you were basing your opinion on a few bad experiences you had in VA. that kinda happens everywhere.

i think vtec junkie was juss upset because it seemed like your opinion was based on generalizations. I personally have been in VA on numerous occasions and found it a great place to live. But that's just my opinion! :D
Abbas
no, im totally not basing my opinion on those events I listed above, I actually kinda like it here, although I lack a social life because I'm new, but I live in the richest county in the US, so I mean its a pretty nice area

I was told VA is one of the nicest regions to be, and I mean I live a 5 minute drive from DC

but I still like Canada better, as I said its my opinion based on a number of things, not because I saw a dude rob the bank

Wow, thats pretty sweet, I'd love to have a house like that in the future...when did he retire from football?

Yeah, I wanna go out to Glow, I haven't been doing much since I got here last month.....are you planning to hit up any of the events lined up for October?
drewfactor
Abbas: I just finished nursing last year. I have some friends in your program (I lived with a few people in SWR ENG and MGMT), I wonder if you know them? What year are you in?

On the other topic. I love the States, I have been to VA many times. I love it there. I just got back from a trip to Pennsylvania and I love it there too. In many ways I prefer the States to Canada. Canada has it's benefits too. I'd much much rather travel in the States, that's for sure. As for raising a family someday, I'd probably stay in Canada, who knows.

vtec junkie: thats cool, yeah the Guv has a pretty nice month lined-up for their anniversary....I was planning on catching PvD also, I dont really know anyone here though, but PvD rocks and was disappointed when he never made it because of SARS in TO
