| nice...last time he played Guvt on a Wed it was great. System night just didn't do it....I think he's more suited for a Guvt venue as opposed to being stuck up in a DJ booth where you can hardly see him. He feeds off the crowd's energy and it reflects in his sets. |

I dunno it's pretty good advertising to be the number 1 dj in the world. I wouldnt be surprised if Tiesto hired 100 ppl to sit there and vote for him all day. i know he can afford it.
judge jules is fuking good tho...the problem is that his set will prolly be short and where the hell do u go after hes done? are they keeping the guv open all night or till 2? because if its judge jules i wanna be "in a good mood" and that would suck if the party ended at 2 and i was still "in a good mood" with nowhere to go. |

yea...craig richards used to be 37th or something like that. a few years back, his name hardly meant anything. i used to go to fabric/ london esp for his sets on saturdays cos he literallly ripped the place apart and put a spell on everyone.
.. and then this year when him and lee came to stereo i made a whole bunch of my friends come out (for some education ehehe!). they were utterly blown away! they had an experience they will never forget.
ergo: don't judge the book by its cover. the ppl who vote on these things most of the itme haven't a clue about the dj's skillz and talent. just cos they saw tiesto's moonface on a poster walking round town and heard his cheesy trance in the supermarket or gettin all pissed n pilled up in ibiza ... pff pathetic, really! like u said, it's merely a popularity contest. the real quality stuff, you have to look for. it's not served on a silver platter! :tongue3

| I remember seeing Jules at the Guv on a weeknight in Dec. a couple years ago and it was pretty good. It'll be all partiers up for some "proppa trance" (as E2EKIEL would say:) ). Won't be to crowded. But yes, the night will end by 3am I bet. Worth it I say, if you can make it on a week night. |
