Yea it's quite great when you know what you wanna do the rest of your life... it takes alot of stresses away until the big real stresses come about.
I found out in grade 11 (3rd year high school) that I want to climb the technical ladder in the audio/music industry.
And DJing as a side-thing is just fitting now. |

OINK
cops are fuking pussies...always see 12 yr olds getting busted with herb and very rarely does anyone go after the gangs with the semis.
do you like donuts?
why not be like a CIA agent or something interesting. all youre going to end up doing is really tedious and annoying with the possibility of getting shot every day. if youre gonna risk your life for people u dont know at least make it interesting. |

just some info on state troopers, my brother looked into it(in CT) and apparently the application process is a SERIOUS bitch.
im going into the Army though, retiring after 20 yrs like gwrmarines.
becomming a warrant officer is no easy task either though. takes MONTHS to get in, and thats if they accept you (im going on 4months since graduating). i could be in bootcamp by next week if i wanted to do a regular MOS. but id much rather fly an Apache :) or a blackhawk.
Edit: almost forgot. Good Luck man! |

They don't make the laws. They only selectively enforce them. The politicians are more to blame (and the poeple who vote for them).
Those are the true pigs. | No they are not always . Laws are sometimes rather draconian but officers are just over the top. They truly cross over all the boundaries they should stay within as a "servant of the people" consistently. No code of ethics among them for the most part. A few hundred officers are convicted every year on scandalous grounds by the FBI (i think, can't remember which agency polices the police in that manner). In any event, most of the scandals are drug related. Multiply that by "only the ones who got caught" and you got some paranoid people in the world.
I'm disillusioned with our justice system you might say... 50% of the inmate population in the U.S. is serving time on drug related charges, a high percentage of them (over 80% or so) non-violent drug charges. (I.E. they didn't go "mad"). A very high percentage of them are black as well. Drug laws are *not* enforced equally across the population. They specifically target poverty level environments.
I could on about this, drug laws aren't the only shady thing in our justice system, far from it, I think. |

It takes a while to get to be a warrant officer. And there is no guarantee that you will get to fly choppers anyway. The military decides what you are best suited for and gives you a small batch of choices. It might be you are not deemed "capable" to be one. If you score super high in deductive reasoning and coding speed they may decide to put you into military intelligence.
Good luck whatever you end up doing. It is good to see people who are interested in going into the military for their own reasons.
