Being a member of PVD's mailing list... I got this today:

I have talked with friends at school about the fact that Tiesto was rated "The #1 DJ in the world", but I found it hard to believe they could come to that conclusion. I wondered what it was based upon... It's our damn votes :O.
So vote for your favourite DJ's.
P.S. Does anyone think Tiesto will get #1 again? |

I agree that Tiesto (and PVD, for that matter) are on a level all of their own. From the stuff I listen to, I'd have to say Tiesto/PVD would share #1, but I still voted PVD for #1 this year. |

personally it is really just mp3 kiddies voting for deejays. Frankly tiesto has been piss poor deejaying wise for the last while and he knows he can mix better. Armin does not deserve #1 spot, he went too boring, pvd went off the rails. So I choose adam freeland, he is innovating more these days and making new tunes then again I rarely pick the same 5 any year. Last year, sander k was my top pick...but this year....i feel he has not done the job. |

it always seems to be PVD, Tiesto, S&D in the top 4 but in a mixed order every year ..
