| Boards like that are becoming less and less important. As a result of digital recording, that console is more for show than anything else. As most stuff can be done in a Pro Tools rig with a pro control unit. The only thing that requires a console like that now, is a classical recording, because very few people need that many ins and outs. i have to say I like the studio I work in more than all of those pictures. I'll have to post some pictures. |

| That gear looks like it can cost thousands of dollars. Has anyone ever read in an interview how they manage to come up with all the money to buy gear like that? Rich parents or do they actually save up money working a regular job and buy one piece at a time? Do they make the money first by DJing? Kind of discouraging to wanna-be producers, since it looks extremely expensive. |
