repeating the same lies again and again won't make them any truer.

As for the intervew:

Thank you TheMaster for posting this one. How exactely was it done? Was it a real-time chat or was there a thread that collected questions out of which Tiesto chose to answer a "few" ?
I think some questins were indeed interesting, I really don't know what you guys expect. Don't forget that the people on this board are his FANS as opposed to some of you guys who try to bash and attakc him as often as possible. Thus their questions will be of a more admirable than a criticizing/sceptic nature. You even doubt his own statements! Ridiculous.
I do believe he's honest about everything, not despite but *because* of the sometimes great naivité in his answers. From what I could gather in his interviews/dvd's etc. Tiesto isn't you cynical, witty philosoph but just a sometimes childish (in the charming sense, however) fun guy who obviously loves what he does, and who does it pretty damn well.

Wow quite alot of questions, thnks for posting them took me quite some time to read them all :)

i thought that the parsing of the questions went surprisingly well considering the authoritarian turn that the Tiesto forum has taken as of late.

Well said

I think it was a good interview from a genuine and talented guy.

If you watch his another day at the office dvd he really seems to genuinely love what he does and it isn't clever editing on the dvd as it isn't a very well edited dvd

DJ/Producer interviews are always going to be like that, he is never going to be able to please everyone all the time but we are lucky to have him and other guys like him championing the trance cause

They are true...they are not lies

urban train borrowed from reform by kid vicious
obessession...always sounded more junkie xl then tiesto..
traffic was psykofuk - psykofuk...borrowed from sean deason (amazing techno producer)
he bought the lead for lethal industry

you can hate me all you damn well please about my opinion but calling me a liar when it is truth...that is damn pointless. You can think Tiesto is the greatest thing since sliced bread, that's fine with me but he borrowed and paid for the samples....I never called him a thief, at least he gives credit where credit is due....unlike a man named JOSH WINK!!!!!!! (who is a true thief..no credit...just steals)...hell nothing wrong with sampling...it made fatboyslim a very very rich man).

I am right about Tiesto's mixing also because he used to give a rat's ass when he mixed...he tried harder but recently he has fallen off the radar....the man is capable of SO MUCH BETTER!!!!!....he knows it....I know it and the world knows it. I am not a tiesto hater, frankly I have been a fan since 1999 but why change the truth..if the truth is...he is not mixing well or picking tracks well anymore.
George Kendall
find psykofuk - psykofuk on 'Martix' (US Label)

has the 'exact' same lead as traffic.........but then the sleeve for 'traffic' does say that the sample was taken...to cover his ass...

but basically traffic is just pskyofuk (tiesto remix)
dj_mdma
some fans there who are obviously over excited about getting there qustions to be answered, hehe.

A TiC in 2005? sweet! :D

he does make a valid point about the Coca Cola commercial thingy as well. Hopefully i'll get to caht to him on November 28th when he comes to Gatecrasher London :D

I know there are some bad things about Tiesto, I've heard about his screw-ups and breakdowns at events, him stealing and buying samples from songs and such ... He's still 100 times better than such ripp-off artists like Scooter. The best thing about Tiesto I'd say is that he finds great tracks for his livesets, and his CDs are great to listen to. But if he'll be doing what he's been doing up to now, he'll never be my favourite DJ, not even for a month. He's got a unique style, but it needs more than that. ...
