Wow! What a good night. All of my favorite TA DJs in one lineup!
I almost died laughing when they tried to close the party down and mikes just kept saying "i dunno, this is the last rack".. ;)
My personal highlight of the night was coming VERY close to getting thrown out (thanks for the save Nat!). Woooo! How very exciting! :)
To the crazy dood who tried to be World DMC Champ on Eso's records: Boo! Shame on you.
To the rest of the TOTA crew: A party just isn't a party unless the TOTA crew are there!!!
Ok, time for zzzzz's... Two nights in a row and poor rj is tired..
Lastly: Make sure you attend System Soundbar on Friday October 3 for the DJ Eso 3-hour set! That's right - the man himself will grace the decks for an epic 3-hour set! This event will be Eso's farewell set before he departs on a new stage of his life. I hope all the TOTAs can make it out to Eso's Farewell as it will be a special night for everybody. |

NICE PARTY INDEED!
BIG UP ESO for this one! Nice choons all night long! I got there a little late but, it was worth heading down! Nice to see the TOTAz supporting ESO & the Crew! Had lots of fun chatting with ppl and hanging out with my ppl! There was time when I had to start hyping up the crowd for ESO's set and it worked. (Too bad no MIC tonight for me ... it wouldn't been better!)
BTW, Sarah ... I took it easy on you in our little game of pool. THe person I face afterwards, I didn't take it easy :)

my nite started out with me being a witness... Yes, i was walking to Kurfew's house so RJ can pick us up and as i was heading towards his house, i saw a car accident as it happened. So since iwas a witness, i was asked to stay behind and such.. u know the drill.... Either way, i just made it in time as RJ and Chris were leaving (thank God that is)
anyway, first of all it was by far one of the greatest outings for me this month since school started
I didn't make it to either TAI IV or Graham last nite so.
GREAT job by the DJs i caught... sorry i missed Stylez but i'm sure he dropped a good set as usual. Mobius as usual solid mix, Eso (minus the few "incedents") did his usual best which makes the floor packed.. really really enjoyable experience to take a part in.. First time seeing Mike spin but i guess better late than sorry... solid mix as i expected. Ofcourse Arek's hard work payed off by giving us an enjoyable night minus the little "incedents" here and there.
Either way, here comes the scores:
DJs: 100/10 (yes, that's an extra zero)
Venue: 7/10 (it's humble)
Vibe: 10/10 (comeon... just being with TAs alone makes it 10/10)
overal: 9/10

No time for an extra long review because I gotta leave town soon, but sweet ass party! Sound system was a little weak, but for this particular party I didn't mind that, because this was more about the atmosphere and it made it easier to actually hear the people I talked to. I don't think I met anyone new, but it was great to see the usual crew and listen to some major t00nage.
$7 beers after 11 did not impress me. Oh, and I loved the sign for Eso!
I always miss you guys once I hit the hole that is K-town. Big ups to Stylez, Mobius, Eso and Schryer! Eso, if I don't get to see you again before you take off, good luck! |

TOTAs - the DJs & Volume for letting us have this night.
It was a pleasure to have this party, with a two week notice it was a great turnout!
The DJs did an amazing job.

Great night last night, it was a lot of fun as expected. It was nice seeing a lot of the TA's out to support. Wicked Wicked sets dropped by every DJ.

So I started off earlier on in the day chilling with DJ Eso and doing a run through of tracks before we got picked up by his friend Ralf. (Nice to meet you, btw!) We made it over to Volume Lounge earlier on and met up with Arek, Ximena, Ziggy, DJ Dan, and a couple of other guys whose names I never caught.
The talent (All of which were great)
- Stylez started us off for the night, and very well so! Your skillz just keep getting hotter and hotter! You set the pace just right for the evening.
- Möbius thought it would be fun to kill us with 'Cloudwalking'... :wtf:! lol. Your set was anything but boring. It's always a pleasure to hear you spin.
- Eso puts us in 'a state of trance' (what pun?) every time he spins. Buddy, you were great! You mixed in the 'questionable' track really well, there was no need to worry about it after all. Like your new sign says, you're surely a 'gentleman behind the decks'. :)
- Schryer, it was great to see such pure joy and enthusiasm from you, increasing as the night progressed. You know how to lay down absolutely banging sets that literally leave us chanting for "one more, one more!"
The venue
- I was impressed by the look of the venue right from the moment that I walked in. The furniture, lighting, paintings on the walls, and even a gorgeous waterfall all came together to create a fun, laid-back atmosphere.
- I was very pleased with the staff. I found them to be efficient, friendly and prompt. Yes, they had a couple of screw ups during the night, but I was still satisfied with how they calmly extracted the 'drunken idiots crew' from the event.
The people
Phew. For my own piece of mind, I can safely say that 'the vibe' has been resurrected - very much so. :thepirate
There was a great mix of regular TA lovelies and a bunch more that I had just met for the first time last night. It was a typical, but fun case of having to flutter around to chat and catch up with many individuals throughout the evening.

Last, but not least, we actually hit up the R351570R event for a whole 15 minutes or so, and then made our way out for a long, ridiculously phucked up/sketchy walk... Two regurgitations included.
Summing it up, I have to say that the past 24 hours have been very eventful and eye-opening, in some ways more surprising than others... I won't go too into detail right now. Lemme just say, if you choose to do drugs, please do so as responsibly as possible... (without that sounding like a total oxymoron)  The close calls last night were hopefully wake up ones as well. :thepirate
TA's, music, and more all made for a memorable night. :) Thank you!

First of all big thank you for Arek setting up the venue, and big thanks to the owners of the venue for letting us have this party, and of course big thank you to everyone who supported!!!! without you nothing like this would be possible.
as for djs, well this was one crazy line up, Stiles - great start, like arek mentioned you set the mood the right way ;), Mobius - what can I say ... amaazing .. as usual ... you own ****** ;), Mike - great hard banging set, you did great, and I'm glad you got to spin over 3 am :) ;)
And the dude that came in to the booth and decided to scatch my record, well I didn't know who he was, all I asked him was to carefull, and I guess he decided to play with the table, well tatgirl saved me a beating, his friends were trying to get to me after??? So Nat BIG THANKS for saving my ass ;) and helping getting those fools get kicked out.
