I don't ever watch Emeril, it's just embarassing to see an audience of fat people cheering on someone cooking.
But Iron Chef is definite quality; very funny and strangely exciting.
Also, if you've always wanted to be a scientist like me, check out "Good Eats." The host, Alton Brown makes a really interesting and funny show with a focus on cooking food as a science. |

| food network is great. i watch hoping that one day i'll be able to cook something. emeril sucks though. |

We're all in agreement then, Emeril sucks. Iron Chef, on the other hand, is awesome. Its like a 70's Kung Fu movie, game show, and cooking show all in one. What could be better? Is there a sea-creature left that hasn't been chopped up and cooked on that show? Alton Brown is really good too. I also like Tony Bourdain when he goes on his road trips. And another thing, I never liked Martha Stewart before, but ever since she got into trouble with the SEC, everything she says is funny. All you have to do is add "Imclone stock" or "insider trading" to the end of anything she says. For example:
*Martha Stewart voice*
"Homemade cookies on a blustery fall morning is just the thing to pick you up . . . as well as IMCLONE STOCK!"
God . . . I'm a loser :tongue2 . |

Actually, Goodlife (the fitness club I go to) always has the food network playing on one of their TVs, it's great! Helps me work up an appetite so I can finally chow down when the workout's over! |

i love food network. iron chef is awesome they always have the coolest and usually the strangest sea creatures to cook.
that guy tony bourdain who sonmeone else mentioned is cool, goes to crazy places and has interesting commentary.
alton brown knows way too much about food but hes funny.
emeril is kinda cool but i watch that less as its kinda gimicky now.
the only bad thing about food network is it makes me wicked hungry |
