Amethyst was John Horrocks and Lee Milleare from Essex in England. They are not here anymore since John Horrocks committed suicide in March 2001. :(

"Polaroid" was originally a production alias of theirs and they produced "So Damn Beautiful" in 1998. Now that the track is being re-released and "Polaroid" is being used as an alias for the vocalist of the track Danielle Rowe, it looks like his biggest success is coming after his death. Danielle Rowe was the girlfriend of John Horrocks back in 1998 apparently.

Commander Tom :)

Pablo Gargano has not released much for a while, but he has done quite a few remixes, i.e. Sound Of Goodbye or Misja Helsloot - First Second.Commander Tom just released 1000 Years From Now (or something like that) on Noom, and a re-release of Kiss Myself is also kicking about.

CJ Bolland has released a few new 12"s of insane techno on Mole Recs., check the tunes "Digger" and "See Saw". Taucher has given up trance for prog as mentioned, and has released one 12" with another producer (I think he was called Scott Patrick) called "Torched" on Scuba Recs. Nalin + Kane is no more, Andry Nalin however is continuing on his own with extensive djing in Germany + a new 12", ROP/One Of These Days. Space Brothers remixed Chakra - Doors, since then things have been pretty silent. Oliver Lieb's schedule has also been remarkably silent since his remix of Oakenfold. I wonder what he's up to.

Commander Tom did a track a few months ago, '1,000 years' i think it was called?

Why did they dissappeared? Maybe because they would spend endless hours inside a studio. And couldnt sell 100 records because everyone was DL'ing there work.
roosh
what happened to cosmic gate? their last album wasn't very good
