| For those of you in the US, what do ya'll think is the best site for ordering CDs for the best price? I have a list of imports I need to buy and I really don't feel like paying $35 a cd.. i'm sure there are better prices somewhere. |

| eBay is your only chance. Although Chemical Records has started stocking CD's now and I think they have fair prices, better than Amazon anyway. |

| It sucks, imports cost so much & that's normally what I'm interested in. |

I've tried ebay and nothing
what sucks is that i use to know a site that had imports for like only $20 with shipping.. wish i still had the link. |

I would have told you last year to buy from Canadian stores because with the exchange rate (dollar was 61 cents us) but the cdn dollar is now 75 cents us and better for us to buy stuff from you.
Personally I use USED CD STORES (you don't always find the cd you want but when you check often enough you do find goldmines). The store is near my bank, so when I go do banking, I check the store.
Or find people on the board who want to get rid of certain cd's and buy them cheap off them because they don't want the cd's and you do.
I bought the following in used cd stores, Paul Oakenfold - 2 Yrs At Cream, Xpander EP, FC Kahuna Album, GU011, GU018,GU012, Leftfield - Leftism for 6 bucks, A classic kenny larkin album, northern exposure 1 and that is in the last 2 years + probably more, it is all i can think of at the moment. |

| what i find REALLY funny, is that sometimes when i browse the trance section of a cd shop, they'd have 2 IDENTICAL double cds, one of them would be $18 and the other one, with an orange "IMPORT" sticker would have a $27-$32 tag on it. wankers. |

| Funny thing, same thing happens in HMV in Canada but the funny part of it whiskers is that all imports in Canada are made by one company in montreal. Technically they make the cd's also but still call them imports and jack the prices up. |

Ebay is unrealiable IMO !!
Amazon is pretty expansive if you buy NEW but then there are lots of decent USED ones for cheap |

the key with amazon is to order it before it comes out then you save
I bought gu024 for 28 bucks...it comes out....they jack it up 6 bucks. |

| Problem is that although there may be used cd stores near...they may not have electronic cds...I guess ebay would be the next best thing then |
