im getting it (ADSL) at my uni place coz the bastard council stopped putting cable down at number 29 (i live at number 31)
whats even more annoying is there is a cable box on the floor about 3 meters from my front door on the corner of the street too!!!!! :whip:
andyway, i guess it works just like cable broadband only it sticks in yer phone line too. the customer service person said it did i just wanna know if any of u have it. |

| Yer Stee, me too. There was no cable in my area, so we had to get adsl broadband through out bt landline. Only had it since last thursday but its working like a little bute so far ;) |

I have adsl on a bt line provided by BT.
no problems with it except the modem occasionally turns off and you need to unplug/plug it back in.
But they provide a totally new modem now so its probably sorted. |
