so i bought this signed poster of moulin rouge as a bday gift, and i got it in the mail today
and it's been bent
what's the best way to get the crease out of the poster?
i have put it flat on my desk, and put some heave books on it
what else? |

a crease may be harder, but you can put your regular iron on a low heat low humidity and try to steam the crease out.
it worked for my wrinkled poster of Scot Project, but I dunno about a fold...that might be too much |

| maybe you should put a towel between the iron and the poster... |

Good luck getting it out if it was folded in shipping...most sites/individuals who offer the option of shipping that way make it clear that getting the creases back out again is nigh impossible.
For me it can be worth it to save a few bucks on shipping, but if you're bothered by that sort of thing make a point of asking to have posters shipped in tubes instead of flat when you order them, it'll save you a lot of headaches in the future. |

i never save on shipping, i have all my items sent registered, or with fedex / ups if they are expensive
ive had this sent with ups, and it was in a tube, but i dont understand how they could have folded the tube, because it's quite strong, maybe it got stuck between a door or so... |

| this happened to me too, with my Jenna Loves Brianna poster! :whip: :whip: They shipped it in a tube, but they still managed to slam it in a door/drop a heavey package on it/whatever . . . they guy said he'd replace it if it was insured . . . of course it wasn't . . . I just put mine on the carpet with encyclopedias on it for a few days . . . kind of did the trick. |
