pretty nice job done here m8, a few points:

- the kick sounds very nice and clean, whole drumline is ok.
- the synths you used where not the regular synths, but not the most powerful..in the intro, going towards the break, the low filter freqs are ok, but some powerful sounds would be nice here.
- build up is good too, nothing to say about that.
- the synth that comes in at the break is very original *thumbs up*
- it sounds a bit pvd-ish :D , nice overall "flow"

keep it up!

Cheers! I'll take a look at at point 2 there after I play it out at the club this Friday and see how it cranks out on the big speakers. It does actually sound a little flat so I'll work on the EQ'ing in the mid/high range.

Thanks for the comments =)

Alright. I'm posting, in this area, and I just wanted to hear something different - omg! This has been an incredible week on Tranceaddict! Jared Kesler, KTW, Transmission, Santiago Nino, and even new MK-S! D00d, I'm falling in love with you guys! ALL OF YOU!

And I check to hear this song! THe opening bass is very, VERY addicting. Builds me up round the 3:00 minute area - and you seriously got some good effects.

The bass changes...omg...so beautiful. It has that 'Progressive' Paul van Dyk genious sound. Ya know?

Then around 5 minutes...those cool crazy synths...the highs, and lows (along with that voicey synth, or is that a real voice?!?) it is nuts.

I will be a bit honest though - there were moments in the song where I expected a powerful build, or continuous movement in the song, but I guess it's good too keep the best at last right? :D Well, that indeed you did.

Mastering is good - you got all the good elements man. All you need - I don't know lol. Just continue to be yourself, and keep producing. Why stop when your at this level. (And good so far!! First track I've heard from yoU!) -Mental

Sounds pretty nice, lots of cool things in it. I like the percs and basslines you've used, they fit really well. Synths are a ok as well.

I'm not too sure whether the buildup will keep everybody's attention though, it is kinda long and not too much is happening... I'd think it's good to add some little melodies and effects to it here and there.

Keep up the good work there buddy ;)

Cheers guys, thanks for the comments!

Tranz: What parts did you feel lacked a little energy? There are parts where the chick vocal drops out and the track gets "quiet" sorta. This is due to the fact that I couldn't seperate the high pitched vocal from the underlying male chorus, so when the chick vocal comes on the chorus gets louder, but then fades out with the chick vocal.

Light: I'll look into adding a few more bells and whistles in the breakdown to keep people's attention better.

Now that the acapella and whatnot are going to be released for the official remix competition of this song, I'll be able to add a lot more

Thanks again for the comments guys; much appreciated!

sean this is excellent, very well produced and a great approach. the intro is good and the bass is very nicely EQ'd. nothing goes over each other in the track-its really clean and fresh.

the break is good, although i feel it lacks a really solid riff, the synth u have isnt strong enough the make the crowd happy when it kicks in. u need to filter in a newly designed riff or powerful pad for the climax

i will be remixing this when the samples come out so u can see how my remix is hehe! :stongue:
