first time coming to toronto.....help needed TOTAs!

I am coming up to toronto for the weekend that armin and pvd are playing at the guv....this is the
first time I am coming to toronto...Cant wait to see them and also explore the city.
I actually live in Rochester, NY and will be driving up
with my girlfriend. I will be staying at a motel but this is where i need advice and help from you all.
I have no clue which are the cheapest and decent motels where I can stay....not looking for anything
fancy at all, someplace that is economical and comfortable :) motels like super 8, days inn, econo lodge etc that we find in the US.
.....also are their any websites
that I can check out that list these kinds of motels in Toronto?
I will have a car so I am not going to be restricted by transport. I really need some advice about
this coz I have no clue where to start looking.....Thanks TOTAs |

I know you said you were looking for a hotel/motel type of thing, but if you're interested in staying at a hostel, there is a really good one called "Canadiana Backpackers Hostel." The reason I suggest it is because it's really cheap, it's very clean, offers private rooms if you want, great service, and most importantly it's within walking distance from all the clubs, and the rest of the entertainment district. It's right in the King/Queen st. area, right where it's all happening.
I just stayed there a couple weeks ago and I was happy (25 bucks a night!). Here's the website www.canadianalodging.com. |

or you can stay at my place, I can kick out some of the squatters to make some room.. youll have to be careful of all the needles on my floor though.. |
