My g/f mum bought me the Scarface DVD for my Birthday from America, She said it took her ages to find it.

Yeah the original version of Scarface has been out for a few years. I've got the original copy which is in pretty poor quality.

The new 20th Anniversary edition has some more extra features and icludes some stuff on how it was the main influence for many hip hop artists. Also, a new version of the Scarface soundtrack coincided with the dvd release. It featured a collection of hip hop songs with the movies's influence, probably with lines from the movie. I think this is quite pointless though.

i saw the full film there a few days ago for the 1st time :)

brilliant!

loved the scene where he was in the restaurant and went mad at his wife, when leavin he said somethin like "make way for the badguy"

I thougt there was regional coding on the DVDs (and DVD players).

Unless you have one of those fancy ones that plays all regions.

awesome movie.

Also isn't the video game "Grand Theft Auto 3" kinda based on this movie?

ya, all the tunes are taken form the movie anyways..

also, in the game hitman, there a level which is similar to the bit where tony gets killed..

ya have to go up stairs in this buildin and there's a gut with his nose in a pile of coke with a big m16 and says the line "say hello to my little friend!!"

pretty cool game, but ut gets a bit boring..

I was thinking the same thing! I told that to my wife "baby doesnt this remind you of GTA Vice City", she said yea. :)
And UglyDave, Vice City (PC) never got boring, not even for a second.

Yeh because in the game they had many scenes like the Chainsaw scene and many more, i can't remember alot now since i didn't play or watch them for ages...even at the end of the game they mention a quick thing about Scarface..

Oh and this game was one of the exciting games, it never got boring for me.

Aw man...you guys are so fortunate...Scarface is my fav movie of all time. i still have the old 2 videotape box set, and even a Divx rip of the old DVD (widescreen) GTA 3 had songs from the movie, like "Push it to the limit" and "She's on fire", but yeah, GTA Vice City was more into the Scarface storyline......its a movie i can never get sick of watching....it is badass....and the finale...when he has the M16 with M203C grenade launcher was memorable. he was so crunked up on coke that he didnt feel anything when he got shot! unreal! :) still, it was way cool.....hopefully i'll be able to get the 20th anniversary editioin DVD....can't believe it...20 years already...how time flies by.....

Memorable but not my favourite movie of all time. I thought it was too long with quite a few boring bits like when Tony and co are in the Babylon nightclub discussing plans and stuff. But it only gets boring after I've watched it x amount of times.

Al Pacino is so badass.

I love at the end when he dumps his face into a mountain of crack...:D
