First off~ I considering dancing to be a spiritual thing. It is the one way you can communicate with the dj and the people around you. It is a great way to release energy and it expresses your emotions. The one thing that I love about electronic music and dancing is that everyone has their own style. It is kinda like having your own trademark.
When I dance to trance, I tend to just feel the rythmn and beats and go with the flow. Trance is really angelic and pretty so I tend to do more liquid and graceful dancing.
When I dance to breaks, I tend to get more technical and do more popping moves and add some break moves into it.
When I dance to house, I tend to dance faster and spin a lot more. |

| I actually take pride in my dance style, a very rythmic movement in which every move corresponds to the beats or vocals. I look at it as an almost romantic connection between trance and myself. Three important factors makeup the way I become entranced as I call it. The music, the vibes of the setting and hot girls. I am never afraid to approach a girl and dance with her in a club. As long as she can dance and her boyfriend isn't with her of course. |

| I guess I dance like an idiot .... I dont care about other peoples' opinions about me when I dance, and I am not afraid to be the first person to start dancing at a nightclub while others are just standing and watching. I've seen enough party videos, so I try to do everythings nightclubbers usually do at parties .... |

in the uk we cyber dance. known as crasher kids across england.
we barely move our feet at times and throw our arms about and make mad loops and twists all with our arms. it looks really messy! if youve ever seen footage of gatecrasher at the nec you will know what Im talkin about. its a bit of an art and took me over a year to be any good at it.
some of it is so intime with the music and people practise at homes to be the best. bit of a friendly competition like going cyber is |

well this is the ,,, like i said ...in my area we might call it rebelling..its more of a hardstyle..we groove and move to the beat.. we have this battle sometimes when 2 people go head 2 head and see who wins...but i just freestyle and let it be!!

I'm not saying one is better than the other, and I know I haven't seen every person dance so I shouldn't judge, but I see a big difference.
Maybe it's because the scene in Europe is spread to the masses so you get a wider age span, where as in North America it's usually teens, so they have more energy.

hehe, yah i think that is interesting, tho i def wouldnt say one is better-
but i did notice that most Swedish college students liked to throw elbows instead of dancing - as if they are clearing a path. the Swedes at the GU party were a different story tho.
and i would say that the whole bump and grind thing has been done to death in the US, but a certain Finnish girl seemed to enjoy the 'adaptability' of my dancing. (since i dont usually dance that way, or at least not all the time) |

Anyways...I just move to the beat. I know it's easy to say but its true...just fukkin move. Don't let anything/anyone else bother you, just enjoy the music. I guess the style I am would be considered candy hopping/norditracking, but then again I suck so I just like to call it freestyle :p |
i totally agree......i havent seen one lad from europe that can dance well. Americans deff know how to dance better....now i know a good liquid dancer would prob be looked at funny over in europe but still.....we are better dancers. note: i ing hate light shows and glow sticks when they dont know how the to use them!!! get a ing hint you stupid ass.....if you cant dance period, what makes you think you look better with lights? |
