Agree with datt that melody seems awkard in one or two notes, but other than that its a primo production.
Not usually a fan of breaks, but the other elements in this track make it nice and sweet to chill too.

Some wicked stuff here Mental, for a debut production this is awesome. The break beats are spot on, and the melody is particularily pleasant and well executed.

I don't like it much.
The beat is overpowering (not to mention distorting), the breaks are quite simple (can't hear a single variation throughout) and the percs are quite simplistic as well. There doesn't seem to be a bassline whatsoever either.
The structure could use some work too. The intro is almost half of the whole track and the ending... well, the tune just stops.
The melody is nice, though. |
