It's so funny how he basically just says stuff that people think makes sense but its actually a bunch of bs. The people just sit there and nod because it's Dr. Phil so no way he could be wrong.
I don't know if anyone saw the Man Show where they had a Dr. Phil lookalike at a fake book signing and when people would come up he would insult them, hilarious stuff. |

Most of the time, people on his show have serious issues. I mean COME ON, their problems aren't even that big!* They need some retarded "master psychologist therapist" guy to tell them "you see, what you need to do is, not do what you're doing anymore!". The show is absolutely retarded.
*ex.: Guest: "Dr Phil, I can't stop buying age renewal creams, I obsess about any new wrinkle on my face, I'M GETTING OLD!!!"
Dr Phil: "Face it, we're all going to get old. Just stop buying the cream, love yourself the way you are." - he basically repeats this for 1 hour in different ways, and cha-ching, cashes in the big bucks... so stupid. |

Yea and you're right half the time it's BS. So stupid. The people treat him like a god. So STUPID!

I think it's a waste of the time for the smart person.
But I believe, and I am firmly convinced of this, that his show answers to this need that people have to be more psychologically ( fuxx typos too lazy too think ) entertained; maybe woken up.
People obviously don't watch the show to mock others ( hey its not considered one of those crappy reality tv shows YET :D ) so I would imagine that the real people that watch take his words in and try to apply it into their own personal life.
It's not all bad what he says; but so much of it is historical roots of family issues and crap that people cannot be honest enough to themselves to be self critiques and they gotta go to that show to get a little shaking in da booty.
I just think most of the time Whatever Dr. Phil :toothless
ps : I can never watch more then 5 minutes of the show it drives me nuts. |
