I'm in the market to upgrade my current gear to some more heavy duty stuff.. I'm looking for an all around synth that can do all the good stuff (midi knobs galore, modeling, analog etc..).
which synths do you guys recommend?
The ones i've been considering are the NordLead (sic?) and Waldorf Q.
I am basically looking for something that can pump out kick ass basslines and arppeggios.. i've considering getting one of those all in one workstations like the trinity, but i'm not sure it's the best for trance.. plus, i don't need the sequencer, etc..
Also, there was some Korg rack mount i was ing with one day in guitar center that's green and is essentially a competely analog device.. anyone know what the name of it is? anyone have it?

I heard that the access virus is a real beauty. Also the korg karma, and triton. The novation synths has also got a great reputation:)
