My friend who's a big emo/rock fan said when I wore my Tiesto shirt to see Tiesto... that at a concert, people already assume you like the band, so you wear shirts from other, similar bands you might like to strike up conversations. So, I'd imagine it's the same thing with regards to dance music. If I wore a Bedrock shirt at an Armin show - yeah people will all know I like Armin, but people probably wouldn't know I'm also a John Digweed fan. Thus, maybe a fellow Digweed fan will converse with me. It's part of the reason why I use a video game related avatar and name on a trance board and a trance related avatar and name on a video game board. Besides, aren't a lot of the DJs friends with each other?
Oh, and I'm real upset I couldn't make it... blame the 40 hour week :( Armin was amazing when I saw him in Toronto last March, his set was pretty similar... I love how he drops classics as well - too many people are so obsessed with playing the most recent stuff, the crowd at the Guv was practically in tears when he dropped "For An Angel" or "Godspeed". |

tbf you give the guy so much , but he does a ing good job, unlike the halfassed lot of arturo et al who only do their job when sum1 slags their mates off. The guy is trying to help u all and u act like s to him, he regularly comes over here to the UK and is well respected like Mizzuno & some other NYTAs amongst the UK lot, and some of u act like s, then you wonder why they're respected and guys like you aint, take a look in a mirror and stop trying to bs & get him removed as a mod :rolleyes: You're like ing jackals, he's been here since the beginning so stop trying to with him, he's done more for u lot than any1 else here would |

If you hate him that much, leave tranceaddict and go to another board, no one is forcing you.
Hint - You got a problem with the mod of your forum then take it up with him, rather than complaining and crying and wanting him out. Pm the dude ffs and talk it out, redeye_ is a reasonable person and I believe he will listen. |

I think you need to re-evaluate your priorities in life. Who cares about a thread, or saving it to your hard drive. Why do you make such a big deal of everything he does or says?
I also agree with the english bloke... there are alot of wankers in this forum. You people talk nonsense all day and night. You need to get out of your house/apartment a little more often. Who cares what t-shirt someone wears to a club... get a ing clue. |

what did he try to do best for us ? you obviously are not familiar with his 'contributions' to the ny forums cuz youre not from around here.. he barely does anything on the ny section.. once in a while he'll post some smart ass comment and majority of his posts are putting someone down.. meaning he brings negative energy with him where ever he posts.. i mean its either hes insecure about something and scared to be positive or he doenst like to see ppl happy.. wtf, im sick of that bull . whatever, like i said, i dont know him well enuff as a person so i cant comment on how he 'really' is, but as 'redeye' the ta mod for ny forums, i dont think he's doing anything at all.. you guys can say he's a nice guy and that he's doing the 'best' for us and i respect your thoughts on that, but thats your opinion on him which is pretty irrelevant since your from different local sections of ta.. |
