Volume problems with decks

Hey guys,
Just wondering if someone could help me here. I've just purchased decks and hooked them up through my stereo. The problem is that the volume of the decks isn't loud, even when turned up to full on the mixer and on the stereo. If I play a cd or the radio (which are part of the stereo) it can get really loud when the volume is turned up. So the cd's are loud and the decks are soft when on the same volume!
Anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be? Could it be the RCA plug from the mixer to my stereo isn't up to scratch?
Thanks for any help

It probably is ur connections. Could be the mixer-stereo or decks-mixer (a bit unlikely). Mess about with the ground wires, try moving it around, tighten it etc but keep the volume pretty low when ur doing this.
Check all the settings on the mixer too. Also check ur using all the right inputs/outputs. If theres barely any sound coming from the decks at all maybe u have the channels set to cd instead of phono or something.
Other than that, maybe theres something wrong with ur mixer or the inputs in ur stereo r damaged. |
