Okay this is my first kinda-track posted on TA. It is not finished but I need feedback on how it sounds, what you like, what you dont like, where i should go from here, etc.

Synths used are all Free Alpha VSTi.

ok... i'm kind of tired now, so i'm probably gonna give you a short review instead of a long one that i tend to give...

Basically, the track sounds very loop-based, which is not good... Try adding a lot more variety to the track...

Second of all, there is no real melody... just some pads, and some echoing notes... I take it that you are trying to make a melodic trance track... which usually features a beautiful melody.. hence the name "melodic trance".

Third of all, the percussion is too simple, try changing the hats, adding a clap... adding some other percussion, etc...

ok.. with the criticisms out of the way, what i think are nice in this track are the pads and the synths also compliment it well... It just needs a direction instead of just echoing 1 or 2 notes... And it would be a pretty good down-tempo or ambient track except your beat makes it more of a faster-melodic trance kind of track

hope that helps... and i guess i did write a pretty long review ;)

Thank You!

That all helps very much, i need just that kind of feedback in order to improve the track, im not gonna bitch even if people have bad to say.

Alrite, i loved the idea man,

But here is what i think :)

The hat, needs a diffrint sound or less volume
The pad, is so ing sweet, but i can't hear it that clear, more volume
I dont get the part at minute 1.10 you stop and you only let the beat roll or something? doesn't fit, change that, i suggest you make some dreamy FX and try to make it more smooth..

Now the EQing, i think you gave the percussion to many high Frequecnies and no mid , the synths needs a big higher frequency range, they soud muddy to me and the percussion ESpecially, the hat more mid..

Further i suggest you make a nice Dreamy Choir, it would be so great with this :)

hope that helped :)
