I'm just wondering whether if known-popular DJ's such as PvD, Armin, Tiesto etc. get paid less/more/same as pop singers in the commercial industry.
Obviously pop singers have more cd's sold, but the DJ's in their concerts I've wondered if they can make the same or more amount of money as the pop singers do when they sell their albums?
Discuss with real facts please. |

lmao
then how do you explain that BT is such a bitch when he's touring and that he has special requirements such as " 3 bottles of a specific brand of vodka " ... or they walk away when they arrive.... oh I forgot BT is a POP artist :p
then again a lot of those top djs it's hard to say they're not in it for the money, what makes them charge 10 000 $ for a night then themselves? Cause they can't charge 100 000 clubs could not pay them :p
and just for info if anybody cares : merchandising is the second source of revenue for artists. 1st = touring 3rd = sale of records.
( At least for household commercial bands ). |

| I know Carl Cox's agent was gonna charge R1 000 000 (about £94 000) for him to play 1999/2000 NYE in Cape Town, but he said coz Cape Town is his fav city to play in, he'd do it for only R100 000 :D |
