Dont heat water too long in a microwave. This is because when its disturbed, there will be literally thousands of tiny bubbles that all expand to about 1cm each very very quickly. |
yes, it's true, but for that you need very clean, almost distilled water. |

No, ive even heard of it happening with coffee. That time the woman put a spoonful of sugar into her coffee when it was still in the microwave and thought it was the metal that made it explode.
U just have to keep it heating till all the airs out of it, like tiny bubbles inside barely visible scratches on the side of the cup/glass iirc |
