hi daniela! and everyone else, too! germany is good. got to see pvd in munich, that was cool. tom is coming here 2morrow and from here we are going to amsterdam and then to the UK for god's kitchen and passion. should be fun. havent been able to go out that much b/c i was busy with a class (those classes are getting in the way!) but i have a 2 week vacation before classes start up again. i miss the NYTA's a lot. when i went last week to pvd it was different w/o you guys :( .

i dont think i will be there for pvd as much as i want to go, i think i will save some cash for berlin/innercity in dezember. i am going for 'relaxion' purposes this trip. :D :D :D
i have been to AMS 2 times already, but could you make a few recomendations for some good coffee ;) ? |

LOL, this is really funny. My flight was overbooked so they put me on a later flight. I'm now trapped in a Frankfurt airport and I can't figure out how to use the stupid phone. I have only american money and nothing is in English. To make things worse I think this is the biggest airport in the whole world!! It's noon here and 6am at home so I can't contact anyone.
Someone that knows something about German phones please sign on AIM. The only thing I understand is the big WLAN sign above my head.

umm, yeah frankfurt airport is BIG.. i don't have aim, but am on ICQ now. To use the phone you need euros, or a phone-card, which you can purchase. It's a card, which has a chip on it with your balance. You'd buy like a 5 euro card and can then use them at any/ all 'card' phones in germany.
I am impressed that you found a WLAN hotspot.. i would have no clue where to look. If you need help, go to an information counter, most people in germany do speak english, but u need to enounciate well.. otherwise they are unlikely to understand. |
