Wow, great times guys. still havent recovered fully yet. my body will be broken down for a few more days. definitely the second best clubbing nite ive ever had. nice hard set by armin! much better than opium set in july, god i hope this set was recorded. great energy by all the TAs, love hanging out with all of you(i wont even try to name you all) cant wait to see the pics, thanks art for taking some for me! cause i forgot my camera again! aah cant wait to wear my t-shirt Armin threw me.

okay dudes, just my opinion Armin plays totally different when he comes to Florida.....It is my second time seeing him in Florida and I dont know wat it is, but he has not played anyhting like his previous dates of the USA tour....I am not bad mouthin AVB at all. It's maybe that he gets a different vibe from us down here. So this has made me make the decision to fly to GLOW @ DC next month.

here's my review:
I was worried I wasn't getting into this club... the event was strictly 21+, I'm almost 20, and I don't have a fake id... A friend of mine's cousin is dating one of the managers of Level so they told me it'd be ok, just ask for him and he would get me in... So as a result we got there around midnight, asked for the guy and what do you know?? "No id, no entrance" So I asked "If I get in with Armin will I get in?" The guy was like "depends on the owner" and then I asked if Armin was coming in through the front he said "probably not, we'll probably get him in through some back entrance"....
So a very very crushed Ambs goes around to the back entrance to wait for Armin... It didn't look like they were getting any DJ in through there but ok... I could hear Markus spinning Dirty Sticky Floor (JXL remix) inside and my eyes started to well up with tears.... there was NO WAY i could miss this event!!
there was a guy at one of the doors, and so I asked him if he could get me in, to which the answer was no. I even offered to pay him..... NO
So then I asked him "if I get in with armin will they let me in?" to which he told me that if I can manage to do that, I am guaranteed entrance for sure..... I asked if Armin will be coming in through the back to which he answered that no one ever comes in through the back.... So there we went to the front again..... :rolleyes:
When we were standing in the front, we weren't even allowed to stand on the sidewalk... the bouncers would come and tell us to "keep it moving".... So imagine me, poor little ambs standing on the street hoping that armin still needed to arrive and could get me in.... :shock: The bouncers kept looking at me like "Why are you still here? there's no way you're getting in".... After about 20 minutes I guess I was just looking around and I see a cab pull up with no one else but ARMIN inside!!!!!
I was so happy to see him! And he smiled when he realized it was me... He was with one of his managers and 2 other guys (I guess they were promoters)... Armin came up to me and said hello, asked how I was doing... I told him bad, that I wasn't getting in :( He was like "are you serious?" and he didn't know if there was anything he could do....
then his manager said hello and Armin told him they weren't letting me in.... His manager then told one of the other guys (I guess a promoter) that I was Armin's biggest fan all the way from holland but they weren't letting me in..... The guy said to hold on... And then he called us over, the gate was opened, and in walked Amber, my friend, with Armin and his entourage :D:D:D:D
I was so happy!!Inside I got to meet a whole bunch of TA's... I can't even remember everyone I met SORRY but I had a great time with a whole bunch of you guys!!! I can't wait to party with you again :D Markus Schulz was still on the decks doing a great job.... It was my first time seeing him but I can definitely understand why everyone is so enthusiastic about him :D
Armin spun a nice set, with a bunch of tracks I haven't heard him spin before.... It was very different from his sets in Europe... I also really need to get used to it here....The crowd is very very different and the whole feeling or the atmosphere as well...
Armin spun until about 3:45 I think and then Markus took over again.... I wanted to talk to Armin but the stage was so full, there were probably about 20-30 people on there and armin was so busy with pictures and autographs etc. So I just kind of stood on the side... at this point Markus dropped "Burned with Desire (rising star mix) and my night was complete :shock: I went up to Armin and told him that, he laughed and told me to thank markus ;)
After his set I exchanged a few words with armin like he asked me "did you enjoy it?" and he told me it was nice to be seeing me there :D I was happy as hell I got in!! I must've thanked him and his manager 10 times haha They left at around 4:15 or 4:30 I think, together with Markus and his entourage and Armin's entourage of course ;) I told Armin I'd be seeing him in Atlanta on the 15th, said goodbye and we left as well :D
I had a really good time, I was just tired, I wore the wrong shoes (which I took off and was dancing on my socks *lol* )
I can't thank Armin and David enough for getting me in!! You guys are really the greatest, thank you so much!!! Armin has such a great enthusiasm and personality, I don't think he's going to ever stop being my fave dj!! :D Woooeeeeiiiiiiiii
It was a great night, it was great meeting so many new, awesome people, and Armin again proved why he's my favorite dj :D Thanks everyone especially my girl Miriam (thanks for waiting with me etc girl! I'm glad I got to party with you again!!!!! love ya)
Oh, and there were a few promotional posters being handed out to random people with Armin on them, and I got one :D and a 76 USA tour t-shirt as well :D woooeeeiiiii

| Heya Amber. Wow, what a crazy night...started out for ya lookin dismal, but in the end, Armin got you in! That is, like, way cool. Totally awesome. I still haven't seen Armin live.....I hope I can next year. You're lucky to get in, since allof South Beach is 21+ for everyone, which is stupid cuz they're losing money by not having girls 18-20 allowed in the clubs......Good to hear you had a great time! |DarkAngel| |
