What do you guys think of these cars? I'm really interested on them, and am leaning towards this as my next vehicle purchase.

I saw somewhere they were swapping out the MINI engine and dropping either a beefed up B16 or B18 into one. That car has potential to be pretty damn quick...plus they handle really well!

you could always get a silver civic sedan. When you park it in a large parking lot and get really drunk, you will have a hard time trying to find which silver civic is yours. :D

my mate got a '93 3000gt VR-4 yesterday. Quite simply a ing beast. 300 HP (similar torque) TT (spool at 2k, 9lbs to redline stock) 3.0L DOHC with AWD AWS. Holds like 9/10ths of a g in lateral acceleration (i.e. nice handling).It's got 26,000 original (odo reading + carfax to check validity) miles on it, only thing wrong with it is 2nd gear syncro (have to shift into 2nd at 20 till its fixed or grind city...). He paid 11,500 for it. They aren't very cheap cars to maintain (engines typically only last 100k miles and just tends to break on them, but the look on ricers faces is ing priceless.
Previous to riding in this car I had ridden in some fairly fast car's (I drive a junker myself), like an 84 porsche carrera, 00 eclipse GT, mid 15 sec cars basically (still aeons faster than your typical honda/acura rice variety i'm afraid. But this thing is just so insane you have no idea until you've ridden in a 300+ hp car the power band is insane, it feels like it's never gonna stop accelerating. 2nd gear does 20 - 80 in the time you look down at the odo to back at the road it seems. It's truly a fun vehicle to ing ride in ... simply thrilling:eyes: :eyes: :eyes: I want one.. |
