Everyone says' not to worry its a natural problem, but it really s you up big time, im not eating excessive amounts of sugar or fats n still have it, ppl say it will go in a few yrs, but its not nice going to clubs n , bad for your self esteem.
Oh wells.. trance doesn't discriminate agains't me, so ill keep listening to the music i luv... :)
Wash ur face, not with soap but creame cleansers, Neutrogena, not Clearasyl, cause thats a waste of $$$.
N always keep ur hands clean n off ur face, thats what makes pores clog up, wash ur face when u wake up n b4 bed.. |
roacuttane does help! well at least my brother got rid of acne using it. but there are several "s" about it :D
for eg it's kinnda expensive. it need to be used with carsil (or othr drug that regenerates liver)... it can bring severe damage for good to ones immune system.
tho if you (thread author) are really annoyed with those zits, you should try roacuttane... comes only with tha prescription of a dermatovenerologist (at least here in LTU). |

Just felt like venting about this to whoever listens, How the hell is it that you can wake up to find your face with zits as though it has been stuck in a nest of ants, when it was fine the night before. The most frustrating thing ever. So much for my college homecoming that I planned to attend. Unless this goes away in a week I will not be there, way too sensitive. Now I have to pay a visit to an expensive ass dermatologist, just to get an expensive ass prescription written and purchased from pharmacy, total= $190. Yep thats right. No God could be that cruel to create zits, they suck major ass. Hope they disappear soon really wanted to go to that homecoming. Damnnnnnnnnnnnn. Well that's my vent for the night. Thank goodness for a TA chillout room. I know their are more important things in life but little things like this really gets to me. Guess I'm a bit anal. Later guys. |
It's because you touch yourself in the hush hush place at night time. |

just do what i do, dont care abt it, its only gunna irratate u more if u do make a fuss of it, just wash face everyday and if it feels dirty and saturated, just a good splash of cold water and wipe with towel, nice clean face.

For all your acne woes :
www.acne.org
Best resource out there and I definitely recommend to try the regimen.
Worked like a charm for me. My cases I guess were mild/irritating instead of severe. But whatever your situation that site is mint. |

Although the rest of your post is good advice, that one thing in particular is a load of bollocks. It's one of those old wive's tales that got debunked many years ago but people still persist in believing (right up there with telling people they can catch a cold simply from being out in the cold).
Doesn't matter what you eat, folks, it's usually stress more than anything else! |

First, don't blame God, blame your parents (genetics).
I had it the worst in high school although there were others that had it much worse than I did. I tried everything from pills to creams and they only seemed to work for a few weeks then it would come back until about a year ago when I tried Accutane. It was a miracle when I was on it, but now its slowly starting to come back just not as bad as in the beginning. Very annoying. I guess its just a matter of time until it goes away completely.
And to clear up the confusion,
Stress can make it worse.
Drinking lots of water can help by flushing your system internally.
The idea about chocolate or greasy food making it worse is an 80's movie myth. Food intake hasn't been proven to cause acne or make it worse. |

The sure fire way to get rid of them is to tan. I used to have them really bad on my back, then I got a bad sunburn and they never came back. You dont have to toast yourself, just get a tanning lamp or find a tanning salon or some , do about 15 minutes a day w/o any sunscreen or tanning lotion. Buy yourself a good moisturizer and use it daily to keep your skin soft and healthy.
AVOID harsh products that dry your skin out, this makes it 100x worse. Drink lots of water, dont eat sweets. |

My dermatologist put me on a course of Roacutane, i took a 4 month course which is the maximum you're supposed to take it without a break - it made my skin really dry and sore - split my lips, and made my fingertips hurt when i did anything like use my mixer.
hasn't helped my spots go though, it's been 2 months since i finished the medicine, and they are coming back just as they were before - i have a dermatology appointment in a few weeks to check up on my progress - and i'm quite pissed off
thanks god that in England we get free health care - and our medicines are subsidised :whip: |
