i bought some airplane tickets online to go see AVB in new orleans.
was wondering if anyone has done anything like this before. the email confirmation i received from them said to show up at the airport and just have some form of ID and the confirmation # sent from to be able to board the airplane. i was thinking that maybe i needed my passport and other things seeing how things are today.

please help?

Just need a copy of the receipt and your Drivers license. Some places you don't even need the receipt, just show up with valid ID.

i did that this summer in europe with easy jet... just show up at the airport with ID like they said, and they'll issue you a ticket...

Did you buy them from JetBlue? Cuz, you can order online from them and they tell you just to show up with your name and a valid form of ID (like a school ID card or a license)... I've done this many times, it's very easy and not a big deal at all.

i know it can be confusing. i've done it thousands of times, so here is what you need.

1) picture ID (license)
2) print out the confirmation email that contains the confirmation number and flight information, and bring it with you to the airport.

what airline are you taking? some require that you go to their check in desks, regardless if you need to check baggage or not; others don't.

if your airline doesn't require you to check in with them, you can go immediately to the security checkpoints and use your flight confirmation print-out to get through the security point; you don't need to get a ticket from the counter.

then all you have to do once you get through the checkpoint is go to the gate number, and then check in with the gate attendant.

also, read the itinerary and see if you need to call the airline to confirm your flight. sometimes they request that you do that.
