| just curious bout gapless music? Some of my albums are one giant mp3 but u can't navigate between songs easily. Are cue files the way to go, ive heard u need special plugin to work, how do u create them? my guess car stereo won't handle them? |

Split them with MP3CUTTER
and burn them with nero, but change the 2 second interfall to 0, so it will seem like one track, but you can still skip |
If you cut it up into tracks you'll get a very small gap between songs even if you set the interval to 0 seconds. It may not sound like much but it's enough to make a difference in a typical mixed CD. The only way to get true gapless playback is, as you mentioned, with cue files. Burn it with a cue (it's easy to do, you should be able to find out how) and then play it like you would a normal CD. However if you're talking about playing the mp3 directly then I'm not sure a cue can do that as it's meant to tell a CD player where the track divisions are. |
