I don't know if it's b/c of the 96 kbps encoding, but the mix sounds very muddy and there seems to be too much in the 250-800 hz area but not enough in the 1000+ hz area...
The beat is pretty pumping and has good energy and sounds very good
However, even though this track doesn't seem like it is focusing on the melody, I think the melody is just bad plain and simple as that...
My advice is either take the synth out or change it.. because i don't really dig it
