I think this would be a great addition to this site , especially when sometimes you do not want to type a huge message or you do not need to use smileys. but just a quick little reply .
If some of you guys dont know what I am talking about go check www.vwvortex.com go to their forums and at the bottom of a topic page you'll see a quick reply button , when you click it a small window appears , you type in your message and you submit it , very simple and effective. It coud save alot of time and open up the servers too , becasue you dont have to load a complete page to do a reply.
I dont know if Swamper will consider this , but if you are I think it'll be great. |

and this comes from a guy who annoyed ppl with 10-15 posts a day in his prime :p |

if you look at all the top sites, nearly all of them have quick reply disabled things are better without it, and its not like its a isssue in bandwidth terms as the reply page is no large page and is defo 56k friendly. |

Well, I sure count as a newb on the forums, but what the hell ;)
I've been a long time member on some programming forums, and the most useful feature I found was the quickreply (except they had a box on the bottom of the page). It let me keep their topic open while typing mine, so kinda helped keep me on topic :D
