Mr. B at Glass Lounge at the ROM
Listen to chill jazzy rare groove and house classics in this sweet spot at the top of the Royal Ontario Museum, with our buddy Mr. B Deejaying. This after-work event is each Friday from 6-9 and is free. A beautiful room to relax in.
Check out the Art Deco exhibit in the ROM while you are there, too. This fascinating era of design which peaked at the Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts in Paris in 1925 is being highlighted here with a collection of furniture, jewellery, clothing and objets d'art on loan from the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Hey TranceKitten!
Sounds awesome and I have some great news to that effect...
In mid-Nov CFNY is having a big Retro night with live bands.
The wifey and I are definately going because we know for sure that The Spoons are going to be there (we were talking to Gordon Deppe last night).
If anyone wants to go, let me know and I'll let everyone know when the tickets are on sale...
Also, while I was on Ticketmaster I noticed that Echo and the Bunnymen are coming to town late Oct...:toocool: |
