Pre-gold version eh?
i seriously hope they catch the ****** thats gonna release it cause if the pre-gold version gets released, then I won't be surprised if Valve decides to postpone the game indefinately. , thats what I would do.
And stop posting pics please :( |

haha, ya, i hope they do something bad to him cuz no company in their right mind will release a game when a full version is available on the net for EVERYBODY. And then we all suffer, and so does the company :(
Realistically, if it's released, I'm expecting ANOTHER delay (past 2004) so Valve can change the game around, imo
oh, and I find it funny that a hacker is demanding honesty :rolleyes: lol |

everygame is released on the net, most well before the actual store date, yet companies released them.

To all those saying HL2 was delayed because of the hacking action, ill just remind you that what was leaked is what Valve has, nothing more and nothing less, so its pretty good to understand it wasnt finished yet.
Also I'd like to point out the E3 [demo] was one big fake by Valve. Ever tried to kill that soldier in physicstown ? Notice the door will still get kicked ? No scripted sequences ?
To everyone saying this is no Beta: I'd like to point out that THIS is what you wanted Valve to release on 9/30/03, theres no such thing as a much better release in Valves network!
To Valve: I suggest you stop lying to your customers about how much was stolen/compromised, or I'll have to release everything just to prove my point. And you know what you got, as I do. (source) |

yes, they do...but the games release date is now April 2004. And the beta is already on the net and the guy claims to have a pre-gold version as well. It will have some impact on them.
Either way though, if anyone will want to play multiplayer then they'll have to buy the game. If anyone wants TF2 or CS2, then they'll have to buy the game. So in a way Valve isn't as screwed as it seemed |

See man, to get the full potential out of this game you need a DX9 card.
Thank god I have a DX9 (Radeon 9700 Pro) card otherwise the graphics would suck some serious ass.
