Mhhz, Software mixing isn't the real thing in my opinion. It's just faking this project. Later on, would you do mix with software too? If the mix is not good, do you say: sorry people, but i can't mix live?
I prefer the real thing. If a mix isn't good, don't bother,keep practising. i admit, if i -up a mix, i'm angry to myself, but that's the way you learn to mix better.
I would post a mix after this weekend. I'm looking forward to get some feedback on our mix (me and a friend). |

I think everybody should stop doing what they are doing and even if you don't send anything , thank Rman(who is a personal friend) and ernie P and everybody else involve for what they are doing. The dj businees is full of poeple with attituted, so to find poeple who really respect the person, a dj adn the msuci like this guys to is almost impossible to find. Everybody shoudl stop and thenk them foir what they are doing. Thank yah all for the oportunity. I've been mixin fora while and because of where i live its hard to get exposed so i can only say thanks for the oportunity. AS far the rcording..well I hope NON of teh computer mixes get picked becuase i think that cheating hehe...i'll be sending LIVE stuff only...totally live..with whatever fader tricks i can do ..adn have fun as i'm doing it so, jsut as i hope everybody else here has fun making their sets, and stop stressing over it...because we shoudl all have fun doing this...They why we started it right?

The thing is in some other Forums i have gotten idiots write who da do you think you are and stuff like that which was very desrespectful and some idiots writing I dont have to prove you .. Just nonsense. But the whole Idea is To help djs get some Exposure even Gigz... and our plans are huge and so far from just what we are talking about.

We appreciate your support man. And your absolutly right, it is almost impossible to find a DJ these days whos in it for the music. and thats the exact reason R-Man and I are doing exactly what we are doing. People have to understand, its not about the glamor, its not about the money, its not about the , its about the music, only the music. This is one of our many goals with this new program, to bring the reality back to the sound. As soon as people start forgetting the meaning behind the underground sound that we have, it will go mainstream, god forbid. |

| I have a mix I want to upload but only one question... How the do I upload something? I've already downloaded 3 upload programs and I have no clue how to work them. Can anyone help me out?? |

as I said in the mail, can't upload my mixes to your server, cause I am on 56k... but I have them at my site, audio section @ www.andrew-k.com
there are 3 of them, one is live, the other two mixes at home...
a little bit older, but I guess you won't mind

| i'm really surprised nobody has yet to ask how u intend on proceeding with this project? how you intend on giving these selected talented few exposure? get them gigs? promote them well? especially if this project is world wide. how are you going to give these djs recognition in which u think they deserve. by all means, i don't mean any disrespect, and if anything support this idea, but nobody has yet to ask "how?" |
