Hey, anyone know what the difference is? I saw the DJX-400 for $275 at DJ Factory .. and the VMX200 retails for about $350, and the VMX100 retails for about $250.

I dunno for sure, but I think its just cosmetic, don't quote me on that, I think the internals are the same in the DJX line and VMX line, but not sure, between the ones you said I would prolly go for the VMX200, the VMX line is awesome, and if you want just something alittle more, then go for the DJX700, but I don't think for the price you can go wrong with any of these mixers, quality to price ratio is very good with Behringer.

the VMX line is in fact inferior to the DJX line. HOwever, the DJX700 just came out and many people still have a few issues with it. Alot of people like the VMX300 for its reliablility and good price to quality ratio. The VMX300 runs for about $170 at PSSL.com

All Berhinger Mixers are a POS. Do yourself a favor and buy a vestax or anything else, which will be better than any berhinger, if your short on funds.
