Hey guys, i'm throwing a party in about a month and a half and was wondering if you guys could give me some good names and websites of some highly respected Proggy Trance/House style DJ's around LA (where i'm throwing the party) or up in San Fran. or anwhere close by.
I'm on a sorta tight budged, have about 1000 bones i can spend on the DJ.
I'm not originally from around here so i don't know too much in the way of whose popular in the local scene.

Local boy I can think of here is DJ Gianni. Real good, IMO. He plays a mix of prog-house to prog-trance. He's a DJ for Spundae.

There's a billion others I could think of, but they are all probably TOO big.

<-----ty DJ who spins for beer that is 4 hours close to LA.:)

Hey M8!

Let me know what type of party this will be, how many people expected, how many DJs you need, for how many hours, total and/or each dj if more than one will be needed, what age group(s) are to be expected, possible location, indoor/outdoor, and what will the party hours be? please be as specific as you can, I can contact over a dozen excellent and well known DJs in California, including Armann "the Brainchild", Cody Lee Williams, DJ Jeff Yen, DJ Wedoe, Kosho, Hendo, Brian McGuire, Simon Sez, Jeh Mykols, DJ Frido, DJ Sinisha, Larson(fellow TA and an excellent DJ), Jason Comfort, Daniel(moontribe owner and automat records owner), DJ Oscure(LABA owner and founder, Nu-Skool funky breaks), Terence Patrick is very good, Jeffrey Allen, and many more!

my email is

ps. watch for my mix to be posted on this forum within next two weeks, you'll love it if you like Deep Progressive Trance. :D

Jeffrey Allen and Terrance Patrick are the way to go! Book them both, I'm sure if you feed them free alcohol they'd be willing to play for cheap... or maybe even FREE!

btw, here's a link to download Terance Patrick's newest mix "Calling in Sick".
