| Try updating or just reinstalling. I used to have the same problem, used CDRWin for a while, then went back to Nero when my trial ran out and haven't had any problems since then. It seems to be either an installment issue or just a problem with the version you have. |

| mine would do the exact same thing when I would try to burn mp3's with cue sheets. Now I only use wav files and it works. I have no idea why, but it works. |

If you investigate the problem, you will realize that the last track's length has become in the 200's minutes range.
Strange phenomenon, happens to me every time I try to burn. What I do is convert to wav, then point the cuesheet to the wav file, and burn. |

cue sheets use wavs so if you have an mp3 it has to convert which takes a while...it works for me but if youre comptuer cant handel it or soemthing im sure it will freeze
if you use wav it is pretty quick |

cue sheets do in fact work with mp3s.
if i were you, i'd check out www.goldenhawk.com and download CDRWIN. don't attempt to crack it with a serial you may find on the net because somehow, CDRWIN recognizes it to be a fraud and will in turn, waste a cd after what seems like a successful burn (the cd plays back as static)
the demo version of CDRWIN will burn cue sheets perfectly. the drawback: it will only burn @ 1x. but hey, it works. |

| just try leaving the computer for a while...its probably just converting. try it before you go to sleep and leave it...maybe it will work. but firs tmake sure that your cue file is in the correct format meaning all normal characters, correct file name pointing to your mp3 and also make sure your number format is correct.... all the seconds and miliseconds are out of 60 so if you have like 5.8 seconds it will have to be HH:MM:05:48 instead of XX:MM:05:80 |

it only takes about 10-15 minutes to decode an MP3 to wave using LAME, then just change the filename in your cuefile and burn the wave, no PC freeze, and you get a nice CD in about 3 minutes time :D
then you can delete your wave file - easy |
