Greetz! Im kinda n00b to trance and I am just getting into Paul Van Dyk. I love his stuff. Can someone tell me what the solo piano interlude is from in his remix of For An Angel (Robert Miles & Ayla remix). The first minute has a piano hook that I can't place. It's only in this version of the song.
Also, point me in the direction of some other cool stuff -- remember, I'm not hardcore trance at this point.

Haha, it's the hook from Robert Miles - Children. :o
You could do better than weird mashups of several tunes (like this "remix") but I'll let other people recommend some stuff for you. Alternatively run a search for "favourite trance tracks" or something along those lines... |

Actually, thats what I thought. But its not.
Unless its from another version of Children that I don't know about...like the original version (why can't I find that one???)
Any other guesses? |

| Oh, whoops. What he's saying is the bootleg is a combination of For An Angel, Fable and Liebe. So yeah, the tune in question is Robert Miles - Fable (which sounds a lot like Children, hence my confusion :p). |

Thanks dude! Perhaps I should post this to the"First Flight With Trance" thread: I know you hardcore trancers are sooo against the "mashups" of combined songs...but it was Darude vs. Miles "Children / Sandstorm" remix that got me hooked. Then when I heard the real Children and the real Sandstorm I was fascinated. Again with this PVD song.
Thanks guys...gotta find that Fable song.
