Well considering the fact that you're just gonna be there for like a day or so, the risk that something would happen is of course minimal. However, if something DOES happen and you don't have the E-111, you're ed(as in it'll cost you loads of money and be a hell of a mess to sort out). I'm getting mine today just to be sure, but most likely you won't be needing it. |

Since you most likely don't have travel insurance seeing as you've never been out of the country before, an E111 doesn't help you much anyway. If I'm not mistaken it is basically a form that shows where the people that give you medical care (should you be needing it) can send the bill in order for your insurance company to take care of it. |

Its nothing to do with travel insurance, its just so you can claim money back from the NHS i think |
