| Hey mbarc. I really dont know that much about trance production, seeing as how i've just started out myself, but i'll throw my opinion out anyways. It seems like a good first effort, a decent progressive tune, especially considering that your using only software. My biggest complaint is the main melody: it never seems to change in tone at all and there are never any breaks from it. It just stays the same the whole way through. You might want to change the melody subtly as it progresses through the song or shift the pitch as it goes, try a few things like that. |

thanks man. I appreciate your feedback. Yeah, I really intended for it to be a "harder" GOAish piece, focusing more on percussion and background effects. I'm just settling into fruityloops and will start exploring more and more with melodic patterns as I move forward. Taking small steps. ;) Spending a ton of time getting used to the interface, and effects. Appreciate it.. I have my ICQ link up on my artist page now if you or anyone else is ever up for chatting, sharing ideas.
