I'm currently addicted to the set James Holden spun @ Triple J October 5th. Actually it's the first I've ever heard from him. But I like it, it's very chilly and calming. I would just like to know which genre the above set is in, and what genre "A Break In The Clouds" is.
Thanks ;) |

| a break in the clouds in a very unique song, but if you had to categorize it...i'm sure a lot of people would say Progressive Trance? |

I was wondering the same question about an hour or 2 ago. What genre is " A Break in the Clouds"? It is trancey, and progressive, but somehow calling it progressive trance just doesn't seem right.

| A Break In The Breaks has a very techy side to it also, However, When Holden spins, His sets are a diversion of music ranging from progressive with a touch of techno. |

No, definitely not.
James Holden is progressive house with a touch of trance. He's not quite progressive trance, although Horizons and Nothing do fall into that category. |

| Holden is often categorized as "pixie trance". Seems accurate enough to me. :) |

| Then explain to me why he spins some Deep technoish stuff on his set at times? |

Tiesto spins techno sometimes but he's not a techno DJ. Everyone's allowed a little diversity. |
